 Honey Jo worked on Newbury Street in Boston for 13 years. While there, she trained under John Santini and master cutter Sal Sannizarro. Honey started her own hair styling business in 2001 and moved to 119 Newbury, and later to Mechanique on Newbury Street. Her work has been published in Boston Magazine, Stuff at Night and North Shore Magazine. Honey is certified in the Framesi, Goldwell and Logics color lines. She attended numerous cutting classes in New York City utilizing Rusk techniques, as well as Toni and Guy master cutting classes. She also traveled to Toni and Guy’s flagship salon in Texas for further training. Honey’s true creativity comes through in her coloring. She has an eye for perfectly enhancing skin tone and for defining the highlights and lowlights that will best augment a client’s facial features and personality. She loves working with all hair colors and textures. |
